Problem: A small subdivision has an aging water system. Several 3000 gallon pressure tanks and 2 end-suction centrifugals. Should they replace same for same, or was there something better out there?

The Solution: A Grundfos 3 pump booster station with a Grundfos variable speed drive and one 87 gallon pressure tank would be the best option to install. We promised better overall pressure throughout the subdivision with a potential annual cost savings of $3,200.

While the actual annual cost savings was only $2,900, the improved pressure throughout the subdivision was accurate. The customer continues to be satisfied with this solution.

Problem: A large cattle ranch needed 200 gpm from a 900' deep well. Their 100hp vertical turbine was wearing out repeatedly.

The Solution: The discharge column pipe was too large to maintain the velocity to remove the sand content along with the water. Over a short period of time the sand build-up was enough to cause permanent failure of the major components.

Changing to a 60hp submersible with smaller discharge pipe provide 200+gpm with no sand build-up. The customer now has lower investment cost, lower operating costs and lower replacement cost.
